If your child enjoys creating things like my hands-on, artsy daughter – they will thrive with lapbooking. Lapbooks are great if you have a visual learner. All you need are some manila folders, templates, colored pencils or crayons, scissors, and glue. They’re so easy that even non-crafty moms can make them. Then all the activity books are gathered and glued onto manila folders which fit on a child’s lap. In order to make a lapbook, kids create small activity books, fold paper, and answer questions to create their books.
